Mangalyaan - MOM-Mars Orbital Mission

The early history of space exploration was a Cold War between the United States of America and the Soviet Union, but nowadays, a large number of countries have come forward. Especially over the years

Due to various operational activities, India has become a country that is more talked about in space operations nowadays.

ISRO has been working on space exploration and they have also completed exploring Mars. This mission was called MOM - The Mars Orbital Mission or Mangalyaan.

The probe was launched on November 5, 2013, by the PSLV C25 rocket from the Satis Dhawan Space Center, and in September 2014, the spacecraft entered the gravitational orbit of Mars. This enabled India to become the first country in the world to successfully launch a mission to Mars in its first attempt, and it is an amazing feat for an Indian scientist to carry out such a large project at a low cost of 72 million dollars. It can be understood that the amount spent by the MOM operation is very low since NASA has spent nearly 600 million dollars on a similar project.

The main objective of this spacecraft is to study the surface and atmosphere of Mars from its orbit using scientific equipment. Also, ISRO revealed a large amount of data and information through this.
